Archie Bird, Jim Bird’s youngest son, now owns and oversees the farm and its hay art. Keeping the hay art alive is one way he honors Jim’s creativity and shares the family’s story with visitors. A semi-retired real estate developer, Archie is happy to connect about land and real estate opportunities in Greene and Marengo Counties.
Riverview
Riverview began as a labor of love when Archie Bird built the venue for his daughter’s wedding. It stands on the site of the Bird family home, which was lost in a fire, transforming a meaningful place into one for celebration and connection.
Overlooking the Tombigbee River, Riverview brings family, friends, and guests together to celebrate milestones, share stories, and enjoy the Alabama countryside.
